PDF (Portable Document Format) is a technology developed by Adobe software to create and read documents (known as PDF's) across all platforms and operating systems: MWUD (Macintosh, Windows, UNNIX,DOS). For more information about Adobe Acrobat and to download a free Acrobat Reader click on the following logo:
Warning: Do not attempt to print an opened PDF file from your browser, rather, "save" the open file to your desktop or selected folder and print from there. While a 3.0 reader will allow you to view PDF's in your browser window, you may find it easier to consider this as a preview feature as it is sometimes awkward and time consuming to navigate images for easy viewing.
The following are a simple sampling of PDF documents created from our archives. Please, don't piss off the artists. This stuff is fully protected under copyright law. Use your better judgement and otherwise enjoy!
Freedom Poem by Richard Cleverly was first published at St. Lawrence University where it was written. The linoblock print is the work of Doug Chance and was done the same year. (Originally formatted for legal (8.5x14) landscape page. Print at 80% to fit letter (8.5x11) size page.)
Eugene's Poem was written down at the Taranaki Street Station in Wellington, New Zealand during the winter of '88 and later appeared in The Works, a collection of writing by young prisoners and Maori gang members. This PDF attempts to duplicate Eugene's original lay out of his poem, rather askewed as is his sense of humor. You may feel free to print this up. It's designed for a legal (8.5x14) portrait page. Print at 80% to fit letter (8.5x11) size page.
